During uncertain economic periods, one of which we are currently witnessing, gold and silver bullion has long been considered a safe haven. The current demand world-wide is massive with strong buying from countries like China, India, Russia, USA, Germany, and Switzerland. Of course the Asian countries, where gold is often the unofficial currency, have long recognised it's tradeable value.
Confidence in banks and paper currencies worldwide is declining rapidly so consequently people are moving back to our 'original' currency gold and silver. An example of this is the fact that the US state of Utah has passed legislation ('Utah Legal Tender Act') to make gold and silver legal tender. This means that you are able to go down to a participating store and buy a TV for example with an ounce of gold! Watch this space as as many other US states are looking to follow suit.
All this is simply a reflection of people's confidence in their paper currency. We are in very troubling times which makes gold and silver ownership all the more necessary.

Occasionally we will have to send your metal to the refiners for extra testing before we can give you a firm price.
